One hundred eight 260 Club members and spouses will enjoy the annual Christmas show at Tucson's Gaslight Theatre! We have purchased about half of the theatre's seats for the matinee performance of an irreverant look at the holiday season. Busses will leave the Desert Hills Parking Lot at 1:30 p.m. for the 3:00 p.m. show. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase at the theatre. $25 per person includes a reserved seat and transportation to and from the show. Tickets will be available at the October meeting, and, if not sold out, at the November meeting. Members and spouses only.

Dr. Samuel Butman is Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at the University of Arizona Medical Center, and is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Arizona. In order to help fund the Cancer Research Program at the University of Arizona, we are asking each member who has “experienced but no longer used” sporting goods (such as golf clubs, shoes, bags, tennis racquets, softball gloves, bats, balls, etc.) to donate them to the 260 Club for a sale to be held on February 28th at the Desert Hills Golf Club. Since all such donations to the 260 Club are tax deductible, the giver can deduct fair market value for any items donated from his 2005 taxes. This is a great way to clean out your garage and help a great cause! We will have a collection truck in the West Center Parking Lot on February 2nd before the meeting to gather your donated items. Your help is needed and appreciated!
